Paula and I had a day to kill in Hollywood…so we did the only acceptable thing and booked passage on the “Hop on-Hop off” Hollywood double-decker bus tour. We also figured it was necessary to get as good a pic as we could of the Hollywood sign -I snapped at this one high zoom from the Hollywood & Highland mall. The air was still a little on the smokey side after the fires.

The plan was to go to Santa Monica Beach - but we ended up at the Malibu Fishing Pier. Room-mate for the Creation con Holly and I took a drive before checking into the Orchid Suites hotel.

Day two of the Creation convention - Summer Glau & Nathan Fillion during Summer’s Q&A session. They were so much fun together and obviously have a lot of respect and admiration for eachother.
