Well I’ve still not seen any Dr Horrible article on Digg front page, although my enthusiasm for Digg is waning. Too much absolute rubbish gets Dugg for no reason. Digg does seem to be very broken.

I’ve just submitted a new link that is about Dr Horrible, but I kept any very obvious references to Dr Horrible out of it. It’s a ‘Top 10′ list, which are always popular, so maybe this will do better? We’ll see. If you want to add your Digg, go to

What do you mean, the DR Horrible article got 1600 votes, I just looked at it, it has 372 Diggs.

The reason you did not go front page is that you got the bury button clicked on you.

Buries count 1 bury to 100 Diggs. So if you get any buries at all in the first 100 Diggs, then you never show up in the top results in what ever category you submitted your post in.

Since you never show up then you never get the Digg clicks that come from catagory surfers.

Also once you get buried even once you NEVER show up in a Digg search without clicking the “include buried stories” checkbox.

Next, delete this article immediately, this is the worst thing you can submit to Digg.

Submitting articles critical of Digg will get you banned by the Digg mafia in a heartbeat. If that does not happen, they will just bury all your submissions till you give up and go away.

This article will do nothing but hurt you and get this domain banned from Digg. I learned the hard way with this one:

I submitted a couple myself and was quite surprised when they were actually published and at least one of them was apparently recorded on some audio thing. Then one day I submitted something that was really bad and when it was also published I figured it was a matter of them just publishing everything that was submitted!

I remember poetry.com, I didn’t know about it so I wrote a little poem and it got in, but there were some really stupid poems in the book. haha
