Out of 15,000 “Personal” Blogs rated at Blogged, TalHost.net has been given a rating of 8.3 by a Blogged editor.
At first I thought this was kinda like poetry.com where pretty much everything that’s submitted gets published and they tell you how great you are to make you buy their books and stuff..so I checked the Personal category to see what other ratings were like. Turns out that out of the 15,000 personal blogs that have been rated, an 8.3 puts me in the top 140-350 blogs. I was quite surprised that it didn’t seem like some scam to get me to drive up their search engine ranking.
Kinda cool! You can even rate my blog yourself by clicking on the banner thingy in the bar over there on the right
Hilarious - just stumbled across some blog site that rated my blog as an 8.3 - gotta wonder if that’s purely a search engine tactic ’cause you see…now they’ve asked me to include this (below) on my website to verify I’m the owner of said blog… and of course, incoming links helps to drive a website’s search engine ranking up.. but none the less…there you go, someone rated me 8.3
During a Q&A session on the Browncoat Curise, guest Michal Fairman (the evil Niska from Firefly)gave a very serious answer to a question, then he said, when he gets really serious, he needs to do something to blance it out - and he got up and did this! Hi-Larious
It’s 7am once again and I haven’t been to bed yet. Good news is, I did get some work done today, not enough perhaps, but an improvement.
Bad news of the day is my business website was hacked - thankfully I discovered it only a couple of hours after it happened and during early hours of the morning when few are likely to have come across it. I think I found the security leak and fixed it quick smart but not a fun experience.
I also purchased the entire series of Stargate SG1 and the first three seasons of Stargate Atlantis (plus something else, all for the price it would have normally cost me for SG1 - bargain!)
I’m looking forward to watching those eventually, it’ll be nice to give Star Trek a short break. Even better because I haven’t actually seen SG1 yet, with the exception of the odd episode here and there. Of course, the downside is it means I’ll have to acutally stop what I’m doing and pay attention rather than just have it on in the background… did I say something about getting work done?
